Diversity Policy
Diversity makes music better, and it makes our community stronger. At The Snug, we’re committed to improving representation across both our team and our programming.
We aim to platform underrepresented voices, with a focus on women, LGBTQ+ people, and those from the global majority. We actively seek out artists from diverse backgrounds and create opportunities through mentorships and inclusive booking practices.
We’re working to better understand our impact through anonymous feedback and diversity monitoring, and we use this insight to shape our future bookings and outreach.
Our ‘Pay as You Feel’ gigs help remove financial barriers for audiences, and we continuously look for new ways to welcome people from all walks of life into our venue.
The Snug has a strict zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or harassment of any kind. Anyone found behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave, no exceptions.
We’re not perfect, but we’re listening, learning, and striving to do better, together.
